While the team hosted the kids camp in the town of Falesti, they also helped feed poor families. Meet the Ciumas family. They are Christians, members of a local church in Falesti. The mother has diabetes and had her leg amputated because of her illness. The son does not work because his mother requires full time care. They both live off a $50 monthly pension. We were able to provide them with a food-care package.
We want to return before winter and leave them a supply of firewood for their only source of heat, a small wood stove. This family represents countless poverty stricken families in Moldova. THE ORPHANS HANDS will be there to hold them up as the death grip of winter begins. Will you help us?
