***ANOTHER ODESSA TOH GIRL AND HER FAMILY SAFE IN MOLDOVA***
A few hours ago we got a call…
Only a few days ago we had agonizing things happen in Ukraine. We had to decide to evacuate our home in Odessa. Russian warships had moved off the coast of Odessa.
Some girls decided to go to Moldova. Others couldn’t bear to leave their families behind. Even broken families are clung to when the boom of war is outside your door. Beautiful Alona couldn’t face the thought of leaving her mom, her sister and two brothers. She left our home and chose to stay, to care for her family.
A few hours ago we were contacted by Nadia as she was frantically driving in her car in the dark, she told us Alona, one of our Ukraine TOH girls was on a bus arriving in a few minutes with her family in Chisinau. She has taken them with her to where she knows she will be loved and cared for. It’s more mouth’s to feed, it increases our burden. But..
In Scotland there is a saying..”where there is heart room, there is house room!”
So, tonight, Alona will sleep with her family in Betzer House, they will still be able to hear the boom of guns and missiles, but they are three hours away, not outside her window.
We worked to finish Betzer House as a haven for fifteen new girls. We can’t think of a better way for it to be used tonight. Welcome home Alona..welcome home to the rest of her family!
We need your help more than ever before! With the increase of people to care for our budget increase! God will make a way where there seems to be no way! So many have been faithful and loyal to provide! We couldn’t do what we do with you!
